| | I was in my office this morning, waiting for the time for my next appointment when I heard a loud tire-screeching sound before a loud bang. A normal reaction would be to realise that a road mishap has occured and I looked out my windows, trying to locate the poor victims. None is visible on the main road in front of my office but later did I realise that it happened just at the parking bays next to the Proton showroom.
For one moment, I thought my car was hit. Thank God it is not. A middle aged lady intended to send her new car for servicing. Somehow, she accelerated into an old Proton Saga parked next to a Toyota Prado. The impact was so great that Victim 1 (V1) was pushed all the way to the left, hitting Victim 2 (V2) before being pushed out of the parking bay. The knocker herself was stranded on the kerb, hitting the water pipes, causing them to burst. My car which was parked next to the Prado was about a foot away from being knocked. Thank God Prado is a heavy car and not easy to be moved that way.

Accidents are really unavoidable. No one likes accident but if I were the owner of the old Proton, I will be very enraged... |
